Join us for a powerful and inspiring Juneteenth celebration featuring a special address from Drama Club Executive Director Ashley Hart Adams, followed by a performance led by the Drama Club Apprentice Ensemble. The evening will also include a panel conversation, moderated by a Drama Club Youth Apprentice, exploring the role of theater arts in liberation and resistance within carceral and re-entry spaces. Featured panelists include Jermaine Archer, Executive Director of Rehabilitation Through the Arts; Alex Anderson, Founder and Artistic Director of Re-Entry Theater of Harlem; and Tiffany Cruz, Program Coordinator at Drama Club. Guests are invited to stay afterward for a reception featuring sweet treats from Chef Fresh.
