Drama Club was proud to present Coming Home, the final installment of our Hood Cycle Trilogy, at the iconic Performing Garage in SoHo. This powerful original performance was created and performed by our Apprentice Ensemble, who bring raw truth, humor, and heart to the stage.

In Coming Home, Drama Club explores the quiet, infuriating, frightening, hilarious, and profound lived experience of transition—what it means to return to a world that may not be ready for you, and the courage it takes to claim your place within it. Through monologues, scenes, and improvisation, our young performers illuminated the emotional complexity of reentry, community, and identity.

The evening was more than a performance—it was a homecoming. A full house of supporters, community members, and new friends joined us for an afternoon of celebration, reflection, and connection. We’re deeply grateful to the Wooster Group for opening their doors to us, and to everyone who came to witness the brilliance and resilience of our youth.
